Ionic Silver

Silver is a natural element that occurs as a trace mineral in the soil. Silver has been used historically for health care. It is believed that silver, used as an ionic solution, although not essential for any enzyme system, can be considered a conditionally essential nutrient that acts by an allosteric effector on the myeloperoxidase enzyme, thus stimulating phagocytes to secrete halogen anions to kill bacteria and some viruses.
